A Robotics Team Based in Hood River, Oregon

If you’re new here you might be asking, “What is FRC?”

FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) is an international high school robotics competition. Each year, teams of high school students, coaches, and mentors work during a eight-week period to build robots capable of competing in a yearly game. However, that is not the only part of the competition. We express the FIRST philosophies of Gracious Professionalism and Coopertition through FIRST’s Core Values:

  • Discovery: We explore new skills and ideas.

  • Innovation: We use creativity and persistence to solve problems.

  • Impact:  We apply what we learn to improve our world.

  • Inclusion: We respect each other and embrace our differences.

  • Teamwork: We are stronger when we work together.

  • Fun: We enjoy and celebrate what we do!

A05 Annex is committed to creating a positive STEM environment in our community.

We work tirelessly year round to give all members of our community access to STEM education

During the competition season we come together to build our robot and take it to competitions all over our region

About Us

We created our STEM Bus filled with 3D Printers, Robotics Kits, and much more! The STEM Bus was our solution to lack of STEM accessibility in the Columbia River Gorge. We also started Unified Robotics to provide STEM opportunities to our differently abled peers which has been a huge success! After the Covid-19 Pandemic many First Lego League (FLL) programs around the Gorge shut-down. These last two years we made it our mission to reboot these FLL programs around our county. Members of our team served as FIRST Lego League mentors for our 14 teams at Mid-Valley Elementary, Parkdale Elementary, May Street Elementary, Westside Elementary, and Hood River Middle School.
